What do you do when a child starts a musical instrument and then wants to quit?
In this episode, Vanessa wants to quit the clarinet because she does not want to participate in an upcoming recital. She is not very good and is afraid of embarrassing herself. Cliff does not allow her to quit since she made a commitment to the recital and arranges for extra lessons to help her.
Son #1 has started taking guitar lessons. It has become a wonderful bonding experience between Son #1 and his father. His father joins him every week for his lesson and they practice together every day. Playing guitar and taking lessons has taken on much more meaning for Son #1 and I know that they will remember this time forever.
