Four Magic Words

There are four magic words that mean the world to Son #2…just Mommy and me. Son #1 got to go to a week of kayaking camp and Son #2 was initially disappointed. Until he realized that he got to spend the whole week...just Mommy and me. Son #1 got to go on a play date to the zoo and Son #2 was not invited. This caused some serious distress until he figured out that he got to spend the entire day with just Mommy! I enjoy the relationship that I share with Son#2 right now. I know that someday he will prefer to be with his friends…I hope it does not come too soon. In the interim, I will enjoy my time with just Son #2 and me.
