Apple Juice

One thing that I have noticed about The Cosby Show is that there are no obvious product placements. They do not drink Coke products, the kids do not wear Nike shoes, Cliff does not drive a Ford, and so on. The one product that does recur in episode after episode is apple juice. If a family member offers a guest something to drink, the answer is usually…apple juice! When someone goes into the refrigerator, they usually walk away with at least one bottle of…apple juice. This is not just something that I have noticed…my whole family has noticed this and it has become quite the joke. Now, when I ask the boys what they would like to drink with their dinner, they will answer, “Apple Juice!” The funny part is that we have not had apple juice in our house since the days of sippy cups.
