Insanity = Parenthood?

I read today that Albert Einstein defined insanity as…doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. I could not help but think that this also defines parenting. As a parent, we do the same thing over and over again and expect – or is it hope? – different results. Stop touching him! Go to bed! Get out of bed! We say the same things over and over again hoping one day they will listen…the first time. Does this mean we are insane?
