While not the main plot of this episode, Cliff attempts to fix the family dishwasher. It proves to be such a disaster that he ends up having to replace the entire unit…and tries to keep it a secret from Claire. This is the beginning of many unlucky home improvement projects in the Huxtable home.
My husband is able to do many things around the house. In many cases, it is more often a case of time rather than ability…except when it comes to plumbing. Husband is NOT allowed to do anything plumbing related…this is by mutual agreement. Bad things happen when pipes, water, and a soldering iron are involved. It is not good for our house or our marriage.
