Take Me Out to the Ballgame

On Friday PM, we went to a Pirates/Brewers game in Milwaukee to celebrate a big accomplishment of Son #1. We had an awesome time! We had great seats…just two rows off the field along the 1st baseline. We were right by the ball girl and she gave my boys each a baseball to take home. After the 7th inning, we were able to move into the front row…it was great! The Pirates lost – which disappointed Son #1 – but there were a lot of fireworks so everyone was happy.

Son #2 and I stood in line to get an autograph from Seth McClung. He was a little surprised to see a boy with a White Sox jersey and a Brewer hat…Son #2 has split loyalties. The ball girl also asked Prince Fielder to come over and sign autographs by our seats…he signed the inside of Son #2’s Brewer hat. Son #1 had to sneak in and lay low with his Pirate jersey…apparently, Prince does not like to sign for the opposing team’s fans.

It was a big memory night!
